1. Why did you decide to pursue a career in Human Resources?

I decided to pursue a career in Human Resources when I realized that working in HR was more than just recruiting. Although I find searching for new talent extremely fun, the thing that really “bought me” was an opportunity to track employees’ progress and help develop their potential. Also, making the workplace comfortable for all of the employees is very important to me. I really believe that happy employees are the most motivated.

2. What have you learned so far and which tasks do you enjoy the most?

I’ve learned a lot while working at Pontis. From working in Talentlyft and creating job ads, to headhunting and interviewing candidates. I have to mention my mentor Iva, from whom I have learned the most. She was open to so many of my questions and included me in creative tasks, knowing I really enjoy art and design.

The task I enjoy the most is headhunting. The thrill of finding a perfect candidate and them being interested in the position you offer is very rewarding. Also, I appreciate the dynamic of my day-to-day work tasks.

3. What do you like the most about Pontis?

What I like most about Pontis is the friendly atmosphere. From the first day, I felt very comfortable in the office, and everyone was really welcoming and helpful. Also, I appreciate a smaller team over a bigger one, so I feel like Pontis meets all of my expectations.

4. What is your favourite free time activity?

My favourite free time activity is definitely painting. From a very young age, I was very excited about art, and that feeling never went away. Also, I enjoy upcycling old furniture, so one of my favourite free time activities is visiting the flea market “Hrelić”, finding a hidden gem, and making it into something great.
