Biography
1. Can you describe your career path?
My career path is an exciting journey of self-discovery and growth. I am an economist by profession and after spending four years in the insurance industry, I realized that it wasn’t the path that would make me happy in the long run. With courage and determination, I pivoted my career and enrolled in a software development course. Armed with new skills, I applied for a mentorship program at Pontis Technology, a critical turning point that allowed me to learn from experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in the field. Through hard work, dedication, and a willingness to learn, I emerged from the mentorship program as a proud junior software engineer, successfully changing my career!
2. What do you like the most about Pontis?
One of the things I love about working at Pontis is our office space. It has a cosy and relaxed ambience while also being inviting and fostering productivity. Pontis has done an exceptional job of creating an environment that is both functional and enjoyable. Additionally, the people here are fantastic, and I feel incredibly supported by my colleagues and management.
3. What technologies do you enjoy the most and why?
While I’m still relatively new to the field, I have been working with .NET recently and find it very enjoyable. Its versatility, scalability, and efficiency make it an exciting technology to work with.
4. What is your favourite free time activity?
I love spending time with my family. One of my favorite activities is playing with my son and our cat. Seeing them happy and content brings me joy and helps me unwind after a long day. Additionally, I enjoy playing padel and cycling. I’ve been an active padel player for three years and I play every week. Padel is a fun and engaging sport that always keeps me on my toes. As for cycling, I prefer it over driving a car. I love cruising around with my headphones on, listening to music, and relaxing.
