Biography

A firm believer that attendance of every single party in town will keep her young, trying to adjust herself to healthy food.

1. Can you describe your career path?

I made my first professional steps in the Talent and Engagement department, a part of Human Resources, in one of the biggest Telco companies in Croatia. I was mostly included in Recruitment and Employer branding activities but also learned how other HR processes are set up in large companies. After recruiting Developers, Data Scientists and other STEM profiles I decided to continue my career with a full focus on IT talent, moving to a Croatian nearshoring company. There I have broadened my range of activities driving onboarding, employee retention and wellbeing programs, succession planning and eventually managed the HR team. After that I started my journey with Pontis.

2. What do you like the most about Pontis?

The thing I love the most about Pontis is the people. We have gathered a great group of individuals, who are not only excellent at what they do, but are great to be around. Other than that, I must say it is exciting to work in a company with ambitious plans from its very beginning, and contributing to its growth and progress really motivates me.

3. What would be your advice for young people, starting their career in HR?

Education. As the saying goes, “knowledge itself is power”.

The more you learn, the more things you will discover that will drive your interests.

And once you start growing into a professional, be sure to pass down the knowledge.

Also, HR has a wide range of fields and activities and over time you will learn which role in the team drives you the most.

4. What do you like to do in your free time?

I usually spend my free time with my family and friends. Over the weekends I like to invite my friends over to play board games or go to concerts. I participate in a book club and on occasion attend Pub quizzes with my team the Freudian Slip. 🙂
