1. Can you describe your career path?

I started my carrier as a help desk at the Civil Aviation Organization. That was the place where I found lots of good friends and colleagues. During my work, I found my interest in software development so in order to follow my passion, besides my networking course I also enrolled in Microsoft’s software development course.

After two years I changed my carrier to an independent software developer and network administrator. For the past 10 years, I have helped many travel agencies start and maintain their software and networks.

However, it was time for me to start a new chapter in my life so my wife and I moved to Zagreb in 2021 and after a year of searching, I’m glad that I’ve found Pontis Technology where I’m one of the Senior software engineers.

2. What do you like the most about Pontis?

To begin with, the things I like the most about Pontis are the people and the atmosphere in the company. Everyone is as welcoming and supportive as they are professional in their fields. In addition, I’ve never felt left out and I got supported in all aspects of my career from the employment and the onboarding process to starting my first project.

3. What technology is your favorite and why do you find it particularly interesting?

I always enjoy working with the latest technologies and creating products to solve everyday problems. I prefer not to limit myself to one kind of technology however I’ve found .Net as one of my favorite frameworks which is becoming more cross-platform in the last few years.

4. What is your favourite free time activity?

I love spending time with my family and my dog. We usually try to plan our free time to visit someplace new and gain new experiences by seeing more of the world. If we don’t go someplace special, you can find us hiking in the nearby woods. I have a long list of hobbies so during the rest of my free time I play video games, watch movies, cook, practice music, etc.
