Pontis Technology is a Croatian IT services company with offices in Croatia, Germany, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Pontis Technology is a Ponteva company. Ponteva is a member of the Bridgewest Group, a global private investment firm.
Pontis is Latin for “bridge.” We chose Pontis as it reflects the connection we aim to create between your problem and our solution. We utilize a wide range of front-end and back-end competencies to help companies build unique software and complex AI-enabled solutions.
In addition to developing and improving software solutions for multinational companies and public institutions, we also help build digital products for modern companies and scale their teams, whether they are startups or established enterprises. We support the full cycle of software development, thanks to our hardworking team of Back-End and Front-End Engineers, QA Testers, Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, DevOps Engineers, UX/UI Designers, Project Managers, and Technical Writers.
There are more than 115 of us, with our Engineering team making up 90% of our company, including an AI team of 20 experts.
Some of our current clients include the pharma giant Teva Pharmaceuticals, OTP Bank, Mitsubishi Motors, Dentsu, the American data engineering company Armeta Analytics, the UK-based social sports platform Stakemate, and the Oscar-winning production company Light Film International.
2023 was a big year for us. We established Pontis Technology in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, broadening our employee network in this propulsive market.
While we don’t like to toot our own horn, for us, the crown of a successful 2023 was the two awards we received.
In 2023, we were recognized as the Best New Company in Croatia, according to an independent survey by Moj Posao, the largest job portal in Croatia. Additionally, we were named the 3rd Best Small Company in Croatia.
Since then, not much time has passed, but a lot has happened for Pontis. We are no longer a small company, with over 115 employees, and in 2024, we made our first acquisition.
We successfully acquired Clover Studio, a Croatian IT company with more than 15 years of experience and clients spanning the USA, Switzerland, and Japan.
